Night Shift: Phoenix, AZ (10/14/6)

Hey Everyone,

I just got back from a surprisingly rainy and slightly chilly weekend in Phoenix, AZ. While the rest of the Prestigious Models were in Montreal, Canada for the SCP Show, Pearl Nalani, Melanie Tillbrook, Jae Angel, and I were in Phoenix, AZ for Night Shift. I arrived in Friday and just spent the day relaxing. My friend, Huy, and Kathy Lee stuffed ourselves at Ra Sushi Bar and Restaurant then settled in to watch a movie at home. The next day, after getting some In-N-Out Burger, we headed to the show. Despite the threatening clouds and slight sprinkles, there was a good turnout. Melanie Tillbrook represented Falken Tires and Jae Angel represented Modified Magazine as well as hosted the Glo-Go competition. Pearl Nalani and I competed in the competition together and made top 3 Glo-go pairs. In the end, Abbie Ratay placed first and Pearl Nalani placed second. It was a long and tough competition! After the competition, we headed back to the Modified Lounge for the last hour or so. Here are the pics I took at the show:

After the show, Jae Angel, Jessica Barton, Jessica Burciaga, Sahar Khadjenoury, and I headed to a new club called Jackrabbit in Scottsdale, AZ. It was an awesome club with a Las Vegas type feel with its hourly burlesque show! We had a great time just hanging out and dancing the night away. It was the perfect way to end the trip...right before my morning flight! Here are the images I took from the afterparty.

Hot Import Nights: Dallas, TX (10/7/6)

Hey Everyone,

It was great to be back home in Dallas, TX this weekend for Hot Import Nights. The weather back home was perfect. All the girls loved it after the past few chilly weeks. This year the show was at Dallas Convention Center. We had loads of fun this at the show. Jae Angel and Dee Luo were the hot Rock Star Energy Drink go go dancers for the night. Sahar Khadjenoury, Maya Simone, Dee Luo, Jada Cheng, Apple Somoza, and I all competed in the Go Go Competition with Sahar Khadjenoury taking first place and Apple Somoza placing second. Go PM! Hot Import Nights: Seattle, WA (9/30/6)

Hey Everyone,

I just got back from the very pretty city of Seattle, WA. The weather was great. It was nice and warm during the day and chilly and clear at night. After arriving at the hotel, I took a much needed nap then hit the stores with Amber Sulligan. That evening, we headed to North Star Casino for a fashion show. Here are the backstage pics:

The next morning we lounged around the hotel before heading into the city to set up for Hot Import Nights. It was pretty chilly that morning, but the turnout and crowd was great! Angie Romasantas was unable to make the show last minute so I filled in for her and danced with Pearl Nalani onstage. Later, we got to see Cassie perform! This was definitely one of the most exciting and fun shows this year. After the show, a stretch hummer limosine picked us up for the afterparty at Club Element. Here are the pics:

Night Shift: San Francisco, CA (9/23/6)

Hey Everyone,

After a very day filled with delayed flights and a tiring layover, I'm finally home. San Francisco, CA is one of the most beautiful cities I have visited. I arrived early on Friday in San Jose, CA and took a much needed nap. After dining with Jae Angel at In-N-Out Burger, we met up with KimLoan and Kathy Lee to do a little shopping in downtown San Jose. After taking a little rest back at the hotel, we drove into San Francisco for a shoot with Zoomx.com and a very fun interview with Octane TV.

The next morning we met up with the rest of the girls and Pearl Nalani and I got to do a shoot with Steve Bitanga. Night Shift took place at AT&T Park which sat right on the bay which consequently made the entire evening very windy and cold. Despite the chilly weather everyone seemed to have a lot of fun. It's great to see that the weather conditions didn't have much affect on the turn out and that it didn't put a damper on anyone's mood at all. Even though we were all bundled up and shivering, the spectators were still awesome. I got to reunite with Carla Maria and do an interview with her for Diva Mania. It's been a year since I last saw Carla and it was awesome catching up. Without further adieu, here are the pics I took at the show!

Night Shift: Las Vegas, NV (9/9/6)

Hey Everyone,

I had an awesome time in Vegas! What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas -- unless I'm there with a camera! Then everything must be captured and blogged. I arrived in Las Vegas in the evening and waited for Jae Angel, Sahar Khadjenoury, and their friend Melinda to come pick me up. They drove in from Arizona for the show and to celebrate Jae's birthday! We headed straight to Rio where we were staying the night and where they were hosting the Night Shift Pre-party at Club Rio. Pearl Nalani, Sahar Khadjenoury, Jeri Lee, and Nikita Esco got onstage around midnight to gogo dance while the rest of us partied and hung out. After awhile a few of us decided to go casino hopping. It was rather warm outside, but the tent made it nice and bearable. Everyone we met was very nice and enthusiastic about HIN's first visit to Las Vegas. After nightfall, the crowd dispersed and I packed up early to get ready and see the rest of Vegas! After partying it up at the Night Shift after-party at Ice, we left and watched some live performances at casinos. After a late night meal of burgers, chicken strips, fries, and vegetables, we parted ways and I headed home! Here are some pics from the afterparty at Ice:

Hey Everyone!

I just got back from a relatively long and very grueling trip to Los Angeles, CA! We started class on Thursday, August 17th, but right after my final class that afternoon, I hopped on a plane to join the other girls for a Bikini Fashion show at Club Allstar on Stanton Beach. It was so good seeing all the girls again along with some new faces and seeing everyone in their cute bikinis! Stephanie Ly, Abby M., Amina Sade, Michelle Zen, Erica Ramos, Humaira, Amber Lee, Connie Chu, and I all modeled two sets of bikinis then afterwards the rest of the girls sold body shots to the crowd. It was a big hit and best of all, we all had fun! Here are a few shots I took:

After the show, we stayed at a beautiful house in Huntington Beach that overlooked the ocean. In the morning some of the girls went to do a fitting for the big fashion show at The Highlands in Hollywood that night featuring the designs of Alexia Xie. Meanwhile, Dee and I managed to fit in a shoot with Green Bottle Productions before heading to the fitting. At the show, there were photographers everywhere and television crews. However, it went off without a hitch and were glad to go celebrate afterwards. It was a night of many events as we were also celebrating KimLoan's birthday and her cover release on BN magazine. The next morning, Jae and I decided to take advantage of our last day in that house by taking a morning jog on the beach. It was a tough workout but very relaxing and pretty. We even collected a few sea shells on the shore and got to see Ruby's Diner on the end of the Huntington Beach pier. After getting all our stuff together, we went to a beautiful house along the mountains in Corona to shoot in Alexia Xie's dresses with awesome photographers Mike Brochu and Greg Hadel. After the dresses were shot, we managed to do some fun swimsuit shoots as well. Here's a few behind-the-scenes shots I took:

Night Shift - Flushing, NY (8/12/6)

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from a very fast-paced and jam-packed trip to the Big Apple! After one flight delay and long delays in security with the new TSA regulations, I finally made it to New York City! Upon arrival, I had some yummy Korean food then met up with PMGirls interns Q and Kim. We drove around New York and did some sightseeing before getting ready and hitting up four parties to promote for the PMGirls party the following night at Pachita.

On Saturday morning, the interns and I got up early to do some shopping in Brooklyn. We found some great deals before heading back to KimLoan's place to get ready for the show. We then made the hour long drive to Shea Stadium in Flushing which allowed me to fit in a much needed nap. There was already a line when we arrived and later we were pleasantly surprised with the new 2007 Exotic Imports Calendar. It looks awesome and everyone was pleased with the way it came out. The show was pretty packed and exciting with the media there. We all got to do interview spots for BET and Stuff Magazine. However, other than that, the show was very relaxed and the weather was perfect!

After the show, we packed things up and headed to the after party at Pachita, located above Pacha in the meat packing district of New York City. The DJ had a great mix of house, hip hop, top 40, and some oldies-but-goodies thrown in there. Connie and I teamed up to sell body shots to the crowds while the interns, Q and Kim, partnered together. The crowd was awesome, and Connie and I had a great time mingling, dancing, and hanging out with the rest of the girls!

After we finished selling the shots, most of the girls that lived in the area decided to call it a night. The club did not close until 4AM, so I checked out the other floors which offered a range of Hard House and Trance music. The club was huge! After leaving the club, it was only a few hours before I had to go to the airport so we drove around New York to catch some missed tourist sites like the River Cafe and Grand Central Station. Before leaving, I had the best chicken and rice gyro ever from a kiosk on the street corner. Yum!

Thanks to everyone who made my trip to New York fun and enjoyable. Special thanks to KimLoan's friend Wayne for driving us around and showing me all the sights! I had an awesome time and really understand the term "New York Minute" now.

Sexy Import Night - Rochester, NY (7/29/6)

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from a rockin' party in Rochester, NY. While the rest of the PMGirls were in Chicago for Night Shift, Amina, Dee, Doria, and I met up in Rochester, NY for Sexy Import Night presented by Xquisite at VIP Lounge.

I started the trip by catching a 6 a.m. flight! I was the first to arrive, so I met up with the promoter, Bee, who is also the owner of Xquisite Boutique. After checking into the hotel and picking up the rest of the girls who arrived a couple of hours later, we went shopping at Xquisite and picked up some hot dresses on top of the complimentary dresses for the show! Afterwards we sat down to big meal at a Sushi and Thai restaurant. We fell in love with the calamari. It was the best calamari any of us had ever tasted! After dinner, we headed back to the hotel to nap and rest up for the show. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. We did not want to get up!

The car show prior to the party ended up getting rained out, but we still had the party and it was a blast! We did a quick round of body shots and mingled with the crowd but spent much of the night dancing our tushes off. After the party, we were exhausted and headed back to the hotel to prepare for our journey back home. Thank you to Bee, the girls of Xquisite Boutique and everyone in Rochester, NY who came out and made us feel welcomed. Love ya'll!

Hot Import Nights: Orlando, FL (7/8/6)

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from Orlando, FL where I had an absolute blast! This time, I flew to the show instead of hitting the road which was so much better, but I did run into a few problems on the way. Upon descent into the Orlando area, the airport shut down the runway due to the wet conditions caused by the summer showers. We circled the area for 25-30 minutes and they informed us that if they did not re-open the runway soon, we would detour to Jacksonville, FL! Luckily, they reopened the strip a few minutes later and we were given clearance to land. With all the flights landing at once, baggage claim was a jungle. Poor Pearl had to circle the airport a zillion times waiting for me!

Despite the weather, Orlando is a very pretty town. I guess having Disney World as the main attraction really affects the town because all the restaurants within the vicinity had aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching themes. After a detour through the Disney World ground, which can get confusing if you don't know where you're going (and we didn't), Pearl and I headed back to our hotel to relax and get ready for the pre-party inside Universal Studios!

After taking note that we parked in Jurassic Park, row 403, we walked through the amusement park grounds to a very classy and elegant club called The Groove. I had a blast hanging out with everyone there, including the BabeBlvd guys (Steve Bitanga, Dennis, and Hong Le), Lisa Fleming, Pam Rodriguez, K.T. So, Elizabeth Le, Julius, the other PMGirls, and the HIN staff. It was a double celebration as Miles from HIN was celebrating his birthday! Here are some pics from the party:

The next morning, we all woke up early and decided to do a quick photoshoot with BabeBlvd.com before heading to the show. At the show we pretty much parted ways as Jayde Nalani-Mei worked in the Chevrolet booth, Eri Moriyama with Falken Tires, and Pearl Nalani took breaks from the Modified Lounge go-go'd as well as judged the go-go competition (congratulations to Pam Rodriguez on winning). I stayed in the Modified Lounge where I got to meet the nicest fans and spectators. There was a huge crowd but it was a nice easy pace, so I got to actually talk and meet with everyone who came by the booth as well as take some time and goof off with Pearl! After the show, we all headed to the official HIN afterparty at Glo Lounge which had a tropical cabana feel and UV lights everywhere so were all literally glowing (our clothes at least). Several people from the show attended including the models (PMGirls, Lisa Fleming, Shelly Seng), the photographers (Julius and BabeBlvd guys), and some of the HIN staff even made it out after closing down the show. Rappers Southstar and Smilez were also in attendance. It was a perfect way for us all to unwind and party it up before we say good-bye and part ways until the next show. Hot Import Nights: Indianapolis, IN (6/17/6)

Hi Everyone,

I just got back home from a very long road trip to Indianapolis, IN for Hot Import Nights. Thank you to Team 16niss for letting me accompany you on the road. The 18 hour car ride was a little arduous but at least I was surrounded by good company. As usual, I had a blast. Indianapolis is a beautiful city, it was so easy getting around downtown. The convention center and the after party and my hotel were all within walking distance of each other. It was my first visit to the city, and it was great meeting everyone! It was a pleasure reuniting with the other pmgirls and meeting the newbies, Amina and Jessyca!

In addition to Hot Import Nights, The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift also had their premiere there and a few of the cast members attended the afterparty. PMGirls know how to party! I was a little saddened to leave after having so much fun and not looking forward to the drive back, but at least I got to eat at White Castle before commencing the journey home! I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the sites. Thank you Indianapolis for a great time!

Hot Import Nights: Chicago, IL (3/25/6)

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from Hot Import Nights in Chicago, IL. I had a blast as usual. The drive up to Chicago from Dallas was tiring though! Thanks to Team 16niss for letting me hitch a ride up to the windy city :)

I arrived on Friday night and met up with Pearl, Angie, and Dee at Club Wet for the HIN Pre-party where Pearl and Angie were go-go dancing. Dee and I danced and partied while they worked. After we walked back to our hotel, we did some late-night grubbing on pineapple & ham and mushroom & jalapeno pizza. Yum!

For some reason, we all got up extra early the next morning and ran some errands downtown (i.e. breakfast and shopping for outfits to wear to the show)

After we got back to our hotel, we went up to KimLoan, Michelle Zen, and Jae's room to catch up with each other. I've missed everyone the past few months! After awhile we went back to our room to get ready, but I returned a short while later to do a single set shoot with Pure Hot Models (www.purehotmodels.com).

McCormick Convention Center is HUGE! We almost got lost trying to find the show. Everyone was so nice, and I enjoyed meeting everyone. Surprisingly, I only heard the word "Myspace" once. And to whomever stole Dee's sidekick at the show, shame on you! Other than that, the show was awesome.

After the show, we headed straight to the after party at Club Wet again. It was packed! Hot Import Nights: Miami, FL (12/10/5)

Hi!

Miami was a blast! I got in a couple of days early, on Thursday, so I could enjoy the city and relax. Miami did not disappoint. It was about 11 degrees and icy in Dallas, TX when I left and about 78 degrees when I arrived in Miami. What a change! Guess I didn't need all those jackets and sweaters I packed :)

Robert and "Rooster" from Speed Lab picked me up from the airport. Thanks, guys! We drove through Li'l Havana to pick up some food. I fell asleep during the plane trip and missed my bag of peanuts and beverage :(

Judy was gracious enough to let me stay in the guest room at her house. Thank you so much! After settling in, Robert and Judy helped me do my hair. Robert: Future stylist to the stars! I had a shoot that night, but it was a small studio with a very big dog. I love dogs, but I'm terribly allergic to them so we called off the shoot. Time to pig out!

Robert and I met up with Rooster at a Japanese restaurant. We had spicy salad, filet mignon with shrimp and rice, edamame, French roll, Dynamite roll, Green Dragon roll, Kimchee roll, Fox Tail roll, Volcano roll, and a couple of others that I don't remember. It was absolutely delicious!

Afterwards, the guys from Speed Lab had to finish up on their cars so I stayed in and relaxed because I had a shoot early in the morning on South Beach. The shoot went well, but I was so exhausted afterwards that I fell asleep for hours! After picking up Jae and KimLoan from the airport, we checked into Nassau Hotel which was totally bad ass! It was right on South Beach and close to everything. We were exhausted from driving around so we stayed in for the night.

We totally slept in the next morning but manage to take a stroll through the boutiques on South Beach after Tiffany arrived. I'll definitely have to make a return trip.

After ordering some of the best pizza ever, we got ready for the show. The show was jammed packed and we were cramped for space but we all had a blast like always.

Afterwards, we headed to Amica for the after party and liquor promotion. The club was super nice. I would've loved to just party there. The staff was awesome and made us feel welcomed. I was so exhausted from the show...my little feet were killing me from the platforms.

Next morning, it was back to Dallas!

VIP Auto-Fashion Show - Anaheim, CA

Hi everyone,

Just got back from the VIP Auto-fashion show in Anaheim, CA which is sponsored by Vision Entertainment -- the same people that throw Hot Import Nights. You know it had to be a good show! The cars were high end and trust me when I say they were very exotic. It was great meeting everyone. The crowd was awesome and friendly which made the show just that much more enjoyable.

Here's a synopsis of my weekend:
I arrived in Los Angeles, CA the day of the show because I had a final exam at 7 p.m. the night prior! I was so tired and was almost stranded at the airport, but luckily Angie Romasanta's close friend was able to pick me up. Thank you, CJ!!!

We got to the show at 1 p.m. and checked things out a bit. Angie and Paginia went to work in the PasMag booth while Jae, Debbie, Thi, and I headed to the TWC booth to set up. It wasn't crazy busy, so I was able to actually talk to some people that came up to our booth.

The show ended around 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. I headed back to the hotel with the girls. I ate some dinner and we headed out to Club All Star for the after party! Angie and Paginia go-go danced while the rest of use cocktailed and mingled.

After the club, we headed back and chilled for a little bit before going to bed. The time change was killing me! In the morning I said "Bye" to everyone and headed to the airport. Hope to see all the girls again this weekend in Miami!

PM Girls Model Search: Baltimore, MD

We had a model search party in Baltimore, MD at Club Mate. Everyone there was great and there were tons of cute girls. I met Kim Thanh as well as DJ Stevie So Fly from Dallas and DJ Madmonk and had a blast with them. We were so hungry afterwards! We met some really nice people that owned a Pho restaurant and we went there after the club and ate and chilled for awhile. The food was awesome! It was also Reena's 24th birthday, so early in the wee hours she hopped on a plane to Las Vegas. I stayed in Baltimore another night for fun. Here are some pics.

Upcoming Things this Week

So far this week, I have another exam. It's in Biological Health or something like that. It's basically a health class with a very long title that I can never remember. It's a pretty easy class as the topics are so general. I got my Calculus exam back from the week prior. I did pretty well. I really loathe math and that class. I'm a little upset because I worked out a problem correctly, then at the very end when I was finishing up the algebra, I accidentally put that 4 times 4 is 8 instead of 16. At least I got the trigonometry and formula right for the problem. I pretty much despised trigonometry as well. I actually enjoyed Physics a lot better even though it's the same calculus. I think I just enjoyed the eccentric stories the professor told and having to draw pictures for the problems. I drew the best damn diagrams and images of falling objects. I never quite understood why I would need to know calculus just in case someone fired a cannon ball at a 37 degree angle from a hill that's 50 ft high and I happened to want to know how fast it was going and how far I would have to move to avoid it. I would just run and duck, especially if I didn't have scratch paper and a scientific calculator handy to help me figure this one out. Anywho... As I was saying. I have an exam this Wednesday in my Bio class.

Then on Thursday, I'll meet up with Reena and Kim Loan for a Prestigious Models Model Search Party in Baltimore, MD at Club Mate.

Sacramento & Reena's Birthday

I had a photoshoot in Sacramento, so on Friday, I woke up early and headed to the airport. As they were starting to load the plane, there was a delay. After about 30 minutes, they told us there was a mechanic on board fixing a malfunctioning seat. Looking out the window though, you could see someone under the plane and and hour or so later, they announced that the flight was cancelled because they had to order a part. It turns out the problem had to do with the engine and not the "seat." After a few more hours, I was finally on my way.

After I arrived, I finally got a bite to eat at In-N-Out Burgers, checked into my hotel and got ready to shoot. Afterwards, I was beat tired and settled in to take a nap and watch the Law & Order marathon on T.V. I really love that show. After a few hours, Kevin, the photographer, picked me up with Shelly so we could all have dinner. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen and I had a huge bowl of pasta. As usual, I got sleepy after eating and decided to just go back to the hotel and sleep. I had exams that week and hadn't slept much.

After I got back to Dallas the following day, I headed home to get dressed to go to Club Che where Reena was having a girls' night out to celebrate her upcoming birthday. The closed down part of George Bush Turnpike, so after getting lost for half an hour in Sachse, I finally got home. I got ready in about 10 minutes and headed out. Unfortunately, I missed the cut-off time for the guest list. Paying cover sucks. I got to say "Hi," to my cousin who was working the bar, but she was super busy. After a few shots of Patron, I think I may have threatened people to tip her well -- threatened them with a death ray, like in that cereal commercial where that guy gets an intern. Had lots of fun and afterwards we went karaoking. I'm a terrible singer but I knew just about every song there was. I totally hogged the microphone. I am a bad ass rapper as well. My songs du jour were singing backup for Tommy Paige's "I'll be Your Everything" as well as 50cent's "PIMP." At around 5 a.m. my right eyed swelled shut because of allergies. I've been missing too many allergy shots. I slept for most of Sunday.

This is my first entry. There isn't much to say. I head to Sacremento, CA this weekend for a photoshoot. Next week, I'll meet up with Reena Vasquez and Kim Loan for a Prestigious Models Model Search Party at Club Mate in Baltimore, MD on Thursday, Oct 6th. I'm going to start keeping my modeling entries on this journal. Well, that's all for now. Let's see if I can back date some stuff.

Hot Import Nights: Atlantic City, NJ (9/10/5)

On Friday morning of Sept. 9th, I met up with Reena and headed up to the airport to leave for Philadelphia, PA. The show was in Atlantic City, NJ, but since we bought our tickets late, it was a lot cheaper to fly into Philadelphia. The plane ride was okay, but whenever we landed and went to baggage claim, we couldn't find our bags! There were a lot of bags showing up randomly on different carousels and we weren't the only ones looking befuddled. Ken and Woodrow from Team Regiment arrived at the airport and waited around with us while we looked for our bags. There was another flight from Dallas/Ft.Worth arriving a couple of hours after our flight so we figured our bags probably didn't make it onto our flight. After awhile, Ken and Woodrow had to leave to pick up Melanie and Abby from the airport in Atlantic City, so the twins, Steve and Phil, came and kept us company. There was no way I was leaving without my bag. I had put in a missing baggage report and an hour later I called the information line and discovered that they had found our bags and were getting it ready to deliver back to my house in Dallas! Luckily we caught it in time. After we ate dinner, we headed to the hotel in Atlantic City and Abby and Melanie soon arrived. The had spent the last couple of weeks in the jungles of Costa Rica filming a reality show so they were plenty tired. The stayed in while Reena, the guys from Team Regiment, and I went to "The Mix" club inside one of the casinos. When we got back, Michelle was there waiting for us.

The next morning, we were all in need of manicures and pedicures so we had breakfast and the guys dropped us off at the mall. Michelle stayed behind because she had to be at the show earlier than us. After we got back, we got ready and left a little late. The show was bustling but wasn't super crowded. We were all split up. I was with Reena at the Team Regiment booth, Eri was with Pepsi, Michelle and Angie were together in the Modified Lounge, and Victoria and Abby were together in the TWC booth. We debuted our 2006 calendars so that was pretty exciting. I'm Miss April. The show ended a little earlier than usual, but that okay because I was ready to go out and party.

After we got back, we ate some fried chicken, had friends over, took a couple of shots, and took tons of pics. At about half past midnight, we headed to Trump's Casino to party. I had a blast dancing and hanging out with everyone. We completely lost track of time and didn't get back to the hotel until close to 5:30! Reena and I threw everything into our bags and needless to say, we missed our 7:30 am flight in Philadelphia. Thank you Steve for driving us all the way to Philly! We really appreciate it. We caught the next flight home and I got a nice long afternoon nap. My only regrets is I lost my memory card to my camera sometime after leaving the casino early Sunday morning. Thank you HWent.com, JEImagery, Reena and Ken for the pics! For most of us, this was our last show together until December, so we definitely made the most of it. See you guys in Miami!
